Purpose of the service

3D PrintMargin provides a general pricing calculator and educational guides for 3D print sellers. You may use the calculator for personal or commercial planning. You are responsible for deciding whether the inputs, assumptions and output suit your products and business.

Estimates and limitations

Results depend on the information you enter. They are not a quote to your customers or a guarantee of earnings. The calculator does not automatically retrieve currency exchange rates, marketplace fees, tax rates or actual printer consumption. It uses a simplified full-batch failure model and item-price fee model described in the FAQ and guides.

Guides are general information, not individualized accounting, tax or legal advice. Verify platform charges and business obligations with the relevant provider or professional. These terms do not limit rights that applicable law does not allow to be limited.

Availability and changes

Features and content may be corrected, changed or removed. Continued availability is not guaranteed. Keep your own cost records and verify important calculations before using them to commit to a sale.

Acceptable use

Do not use the site to disrupt its operation, bypass access restrictions or misrepresent its outputs as a certification or guarantee. Nothing on this site grants rights to sell a third-party 3D model or use another person’s intellectual property.

You may link to the site and quote brief excerpts with attribution. No permission to republish entire guides is granted by these terms. References to marketplaces are informational and do not imply endorsement or affiliation.
